Amazing typical Japanese ryokan but very modern and luxurious. Amenities were great especially the onsen (natural bath) with an outside one very great. Food buffet was also very premium for diner and breakfast. Easy to access by bus or car, they also organize shuttle bus. Really recommend.

Fabulous place. The traditional ryokan experience, make sure to buy the meal. Very friendly staff picked us up from the station. Traditional bathhouse which you must take advantage of. You're in Japan to try something different, so a ryokan like this is a must!

Location was fantastic, in the middle of the nature. Onsen spectacular. High quality food, delicious Japanese cuisine. It was a dream to spend a couple of nights in this amazing hotel. To regenerate yourself.

It’s an incredibly peaceful setting. The food is wonderful and everything feels very personal. You can tell the hosts take great pride in what they do. The location is 15 minutes outside Tsumago, which makes it convenient but not in the middle of tourists. And we loved having the baths to ourselves and the waterfall views. I would recommend staying at least 2 nights to be able to fully enjoy the lovely setting.
