It was my first time in Kusatsu and I am really happy that I chose the Buna Hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean. I love its modern side while still keeping a very traditional Japanese atmosphere. The place is beautiful, very quiet, and the welcome was so polite. I will recommend this hotel to my friends in France, and I truly hope to come back to Kusatsu one day. Arigatō gozaimasu! 🙏✨

Authentic Japanese experience with sleeping on tatami mats. It was more comfortable than expected and the rooms were really big. The hotel has its own onsen with inside and outside baths. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. You leave your shoes at the entrance and the employees bring them back when you leave the building. The hotel also serves traditional breakfast.
