Very very nice typical Japanese ryokan remotely located next to a temple : amazing setting! The dinners and breakfasts were outstanding. The first dinner was fully veggie (pilgrim requirement perhaps) and delicious, then they asked us if we eat fish and meat, then had also fish and meat dishes. The ryokan-keepers were so kind and helpful to help us locate the place. Because, it is very remote and GPS coordinates not that accurate.

Lovely veggie / veggie with fish breakfast and dinner. Ryokan situated next to a shrine in a rather remote area. Very quite and quaint. We loved that it is located out of the way without other facilities nearby.

Perfect location next to the station, also good to take the bus to Daisenji Temple. The staff was friendly and polite and I could extend my stay without any issue. The room was relatively big, comfy and perfectly clean.
