Great location, great rooms, and an amazing view from the balcony just across from the ocean. Hashan and the staff at Hotel Sanmark were such great people and were inctedibly helpful all the way from when I landed in Sri Lanka to when I left, organising airport pick up and drop off, scooter rental, and even a home-cooked meal. I had a great time - thanks so much Hashan and the team!

This villa is absolutely beautiful, with elegant interiors and well-designed landscaping that adds to its charm. The surroundings are incredibly calm—it truly felt like a home away from home. The host was exceptionally kind and even rushed to a nearby shop to get us a large umbrella when it started raining. Such thoughtful gestures made our stay extra special. I’d love to return someday!

Dinesh and his family are amazing. They took such good care of us. We truly felt at home. They cooked delicious food everyday for us. Their house is really nice - it has a huge garden and terrace where you can enjoy your meals. The location is so prime - it is by the most beautiful surfing beach - Kabalana beach. My best experience in Sri Lanka ever. The hotel is new, clean and beautiful. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern, with A/C and hot water. Yoga Classes are provided on the rooftop which was very convenient ! The rooftop is fresh and spacious, perfect to practice in the morning or evening. Breakfast was delicious. It's also very close to town but still in a quiet and peaceful environment. The manager and staff are lovely and very helpful, they will help you with anything. I strongly recommend this place to stay in Ahangama.

    We initially booked the economy room which was a little disappointing, so we upgraded to another room (sea view) - this room we recommend. The location is like 10 min walking from surfpoints. The breakfast was great (best so far in Sri Lanka). A big thank you to the friendly staff serving the breakfast. The pool was nice.
