Hotel Millennium in Locarno is located right on the banks of Lake Maggiore, near the harbour and only a 2-minute walk from the Old Town and the train station. Wi-Fi is available for free in all rooms.... Great breakfast. Beautiful view of the lake. Easy walking distance to main square. Very friendly staff. Room was amazing and large.

This was perhaps the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Besides that, accommodations were excellent for a small hotel. Breakfast was wonderful and staff was friendly and caring. Location excellent, right around the corner from the lake.

Piccolo Hotel enjoys a quiet location, an 8-minute walk from the Locarno Train Station and the centre of the city. This boutique hotel is ideally located in a quiet area of Locarno. The breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of regional meats, eggs, fruits, and breads. It’s only a short walk to the train station. They also offered the Ticino Card, which made access to public transportation easy! The hotel is family run. Nikoli was very helpful with information about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

The Hotel Al Fiume is located 4 km from Locarno and Ascona, the only hotel in the area away from the main roads and train tracks, located in a peaceful green garden with tropical plants, directly on... It’s an amazing family owned property, with a beautiful garden and very convenient location. The owners are wonderful kind people making sure that everything is all right for everyone.

Hotel Collinetta in Ascona can be found amid a Mediterranean park with palm and lemon trees right above Lake Maggiore and offers you rooms with balcony or terrace. What an amazing place! Nice and helpful staff, good food at the restaurant, spectacular view to the Lago Maggiore. Especially we enjoyed the pool area, it was so lovely to spend some time soaking in the sun over there. We got a bit smaller room, but it was ok, we didn't spend to much time in it.
