Another fantastic accommodation with a great view. The staff was very friendly and personally shown us the nice and clean room. Sadly, I only stayed for 1 night. I will definitely stay here again if I come by this way and more night of course.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, we felt great, real homey vibes. It was really nice having breakfast in the beautiful garden in front of the hotel. Hotel is in an old building but everything is clean and comfortable.

The apartment is located about 20 minutes walk from Lugano railway station, in a block of flats staying among Swiss locals. The apartment owner is a super-friendly and helpful person, at first we couldn't find the building entrance but they called to us from the flat balcony as we wandered the street! There was a coffee machine with plenty of pod refills and some sweet snacks to enjoy. With a balcony overlooking Mont Brè, you also got the chance to dry damp clothes. Lugano is a lovely medium sized city with beautiful buildings and a superb aspect overlooking the lake. If you want to go somewhere cooler a walk up nearby Mont Brè is also well worth the effort to find shade and cool breezes, with sensational views over the lake at the end, well-maintained paths with many drinking water fountains on the route. You can use the funicular railway to ascend or try the #12 bus. There is a nearby Migros supermarket with a convenient café at ground floor level and a basement grocery. Our first visit to Ticino, we liked it a lot.

Really loved this place. The view is absolutely amazing, the apartment was clean and quiet, had everything we needed. The lady that greeted us was very nice and helpful, always quick to respond, gave us tips for attraction spots. Tha price was good fir what the place offered. We got our deposit back without any problems. Would strongly reccommend this accomodation.

Classic, beautiful facility and grounds. Fragrance of flowers all around. Lovely, helpful staff. Cute village with historic buildings, homes, churches, and schools. Nearby hiking and walking trails for all levels. Fabulous views from atop San Salvatore ... and many other places. Wonderful breakfast. Nice restaurants at the hotel and nearby. Public transport easy from hotel. A great spot to explore lakes Lugano (underrated!), Como and Maggiore, plus the awesome Valle di Verzasca.

Hotel Colibrì ligt in Lugano, op 10 minuten rijden van het meer, en beschikt over een buitenbad en een restaurant. Gratis WiFi is beschikbaar. Everything was Perfect, Staff was very nice, swimming pool was amazing, and the view! I will come back soon.

We werden ontvangen door een heel vriendelijk meisje, dat met ons meeging om alles te tonen. Het zwembad bovenaan deed deugd na een reis in de auto en het restaurant is een echte aanrader: "dinner with a view". Heel vriendelijk personeel! Het ontbijt was alles wat je zou kunnen wensen. We raden het ten zeerste aan, je zal niet teleurgesteld worden!
