Alma Hotel - Boutique hideaway by the lake with rooftop and ladies-only wellness enjoys a quiet location in a 19th-century building just 100 metres from Lake Zurich and near several tram and bus stops. The Zurich Opera House, as well as the The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was spot on - clean, spacious and perfect for what we needed. We loved the location - close to the lake, the centre, the tramline, and with a couple of supermarkets close by. The roof terrace was a great bonus. Breakfasts were delicious and, particulary for the 2 of us who are vegan, offered plenty of choice. We also made use of the self catering facilities, which were great. We loved the extra touches too - free water and apples, welcome icecreams, and free coffee throughout the day. If we do come back to Zurich, without a doubt we will stay at Alma.

The aparthotel features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. If I could rate this Lodge with 100* I would! This beautifully immaculate hotel was a pleasure to stay at. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, a living area with a pull out bed that was also comfortable. It had a kit, balcony, walk-in shower, and plenty of closets. The supermarket and train station were a five minute walk away. It only takes 20 minutes to get to the middle of Zurich and 15 minutes to the airport by train. Even though I couldn't rate the restaurant because we didn't eat there, the food smelled amazing. They had a bar, too. They also have a laundry and ironing room. I saw a conference room for business guests. The staff, especially Neil, were accommodating. They just wanted to make our vacation enjoyable. I highly recommend this getaway for individuals and business people alike.
