Frau Höfer was extremely helpful via telephone and email in giving me directions for accessing my room key, as I arrived on the May Day public holiday. I enjoyed a lovely German breakfast, of fruit, yoghurt, wonderful German bread rolls, meats and cheese, topped off with freshly cooked scrambled eggs. Extremely convenient for my business meeting at Wirtgen Group, just up the road. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Gasthof Koch features a historic half-timbered façade and country-style rooms with wooden furniture. All rooms include satellite TV and private bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful. Nice room and great variety. Rooms were very comfortable. Also had dinner at the restaurant at the hotel which was lovely. There is an amazing ice cream shop down the street.

The cosy rooms of the Hotel Schlemmer all feature an en suite bathroom, satellite TV and free WiFi access. The stuff was very helpful and friendly, arrival and deperture were super smooth, the rooms were nice, clean and comfy and the included breakfast was delightful. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and Schlemmer was a perfect stay in Montabaur.
