But the real selling point here is the owners, they made us feel so welcomed and comfortable from the moment we arrived. On the day of checkout we were supposed to get a bus at 8am which was cancelled and rescheduled until 6pm. So we came back to the hotel and were able to leave our bags and stay in the common areas throughout the day which was a lifesaver for us, we would have been lost otherwise!!!! Thank you so much!!!

Each room here is air-conditioned and includes a cable TV, a safety-deposit box and a desk. They also feature a private bathroom with a shower. We had booked a superior room and it was absolutely first class, with amazing views of the sunrise over the lake from the large private balcony. The bed was comfortable, decor was lovely and the big shower was good. Breakfast was included and was delicious, with plenty of choice, and although there was no bar you could buy cold drinks from reception. The tour to Tikal was good value.
