Located close to Buje in Istria, on the former tracks of the Parenzana Railway Line, the historical towns of Motovun and Grožnjan are just about a few kilometres away from the Casa Romantica La Parenzana. I liked everything about this lovely little B&B. The room was nice, and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was great. The location is excellent, particularly if one is biking the Parenzana bike trail. The dinner in the lovely little restaurant next to the B&B served excellent food. The staff was lovely, friendly, and professional.

A health and wellness centre is complemented by 2 sea water swimming pools with sun deck offering sea views Parking was onsite, right in front of hotel. Beautiful grounds, from the pool and outdoor seating terrace, you can see the Adriatic Sea.. Everything was within walking distance, at Bonaco Restaurant, we had the best grilled sea bass!! 5 minute walk to local bus stop for a visit to downtown Pula (shopping, restaurants, amphitheatre etc.) Room had nice shower and with hand held shower head, Very comfortable beds and nice crisp white linen sheets and comforter, hair dryer, towel dryer, shampoos, etc The included breakfast was exceptional, so much variety of cold meats, and cheeses, olives, omelettes, hard boil eggs, scrambled eggs, eggs over easy, bacon, sausages, vegetables, zuchini, mushrooms, yogurts, cereals, jams, buns, bread, desserts, variety of fresh fruits, gluten free products , juices, coffee,etc

Funtana Resort is located right on the coast in the small town of the same name, with attractive cycling and hiking trails and olive oil and wine roads that lead to the largest vineyard in Istria. Surrounded by the sea and Mediterranean gardens, the resort offers an all-inclusive service and was renovated in 2022. In addition to a full-board service and additional selection of snacks and beverages, the all-inclusive service also includes sports facilities. We stayed over Easter with the family and enjoyed the all-inclusive offer. The food was plentiful and fresh, with plenty of variety. These days you would find those standards rarely even in four-star hotels! The staff is friendly and helpful; the rooms are clean and well kept. Plenty of activities on offer too, like minigolf, bike rental, tennis court. Overall, a great stay!

Affordable, spotlessly clean, fantastic amenities - little patio, laundry dry rack, huge room, biggest bathroom of seven places we stayed during this trip, a shared kitchen so we could eat in, soft cotton sheets, big comfortable bed. Amazing value! I was a little worried about this booking as it was the cheapest one on our trip but it offered so much more than many more expensive places. Also great security - through three doors and seamless self checkin. Host responsive and helpful. Also walking distance to marina, colosseum. Plus a farmers market a block away where we bought fruit, veggies, cheese, truffles …
