Located in the restricted-traffic area of Canazei, the Garnì Stella Alpina is just 300 metres from the Belvedere cable car. Location was amazing. The front desk was super helpful. Peaceful area and cozy room. Great views of the mountains. Super easy access to the lift and rentals. The town was easy to explore from where we were. Sauna was a lovely way to end the day after skiing and the hot tub was nice experience too. While we should've made sure to make restaurant reservations well in advance, any food and drink we had locally was amazing.

We really enjoyed the location above the bigger town of Canazei. Alba was small and quaint with a few good restaurants nearby. Frederica's Garni Val de Costa was central and above the town with great overviews out each window. We enjoyed the pleasant and relaxed breakfast each morning, in both of the breakfast rooms. Each was very cozy and there was a pleasant selection of sweet and savory foods for breakfast. The coffee was good. Each of the family members greeted us kindly with a smile and chatted each morning. They were local selections of food which changed slightly each day. We were there for a full week. He it was very convenient for us to keep our bicycles locked up in the riding is superb right out the door. There is a trail nearby for walking or cycling into the slightly larger town of Canazei. The room was pleasantly decorated, comfortably sized with good storage for clothing. The bed was comfortable to sleep in. The quality of building construction was excellent. There is secure indoor parking. I used a work room with bench and cycle stand for bicycle maintenance, and it appears to have a workbench and tools for working on skis as well.
