Very nice accommodation and the host is doing an amazing job. Everything is very clean and well organized. Host offers transportation between Kawaguchiko station and his place, which is in a quiet area close to the lake. It was very pleasant to stay at this place. Definitely recommend it.

Private bathrooms feature a hairdryer, toothbrushes and free toiletries. After 4 delightful nights we were left with glowing memories of Nagoya and Lamp Light Books hotel. The book theme that runs from the bookstore with rental books in the lobby, to the key cards, and signage is quirky and adds character. The location was superb for our purposes. It's right beside a quiet tree-filled park and 5 minutes walk from a subway station. That station is only one station away from Nagoya Station which is massive and where all the Shinkansen trains leave from. There are a couple of convenience stores and local Izakaya restaurants close by. Our room had a cute little balcony with sliding doors that allowed airflow. Everything was ultra clean and you could opt for full room cleaning or just getting new towels. The staff are kind, efficient, and welcoming. Highly recommend staying here and exploring underrated Nagoya, especially the SC Maglev and Toyota museums.

Kaname Inn Tatemachi is set in Kanazawa, 800 metres from Kenrokuen Garden and 1.1 km from Kanazawa Castle. Omicho Market is 1.5 km away, while the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa is only 350 metres from the property. Free WiFi access is offered throughout the entire property, and staff are on site 24-hours a day to assist guests during their stay. A comfortable structure and a truly kind and professional staff. We found services and facilities that we didn’t expect and it has been very amusing, luxurious I would say! For sure I would rebook again. It made Kanazawa a pleasant experience

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar.

There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Fuji is visible on sunny days from several rooms. A TV is provided in the Queen Room. I was impressed with how nice the hostel facility is. The in-house restaurant was also a huge bonus. They allowed me to store my bags in the back private room. Minori is an excellent and capable staff member, also! :)

It features spacious hot spring baths with spectacular nature views, a video games corner and a souvenir shop. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas. Perfect view of Fuji San and nice hot springs available. Perfect and warm staff who really helped us a lot, like late car picking for our pregnant friend and free delivery of my lost scarf. It is really a pleased and warm trip in the hotel, and would definitely rebook next time.

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. Free WiFi available throughout the hotel and free on-site parking is available. Free pick-up service is available from Kawaguchiko Station upon request. The food was great, each meal was made up of various dishes, typically japanese. The view of the lake and mount fuji from the room and the public bath was breathtaking. The staff was very kind and helpful. They can pick you up from the station and drop you off too. The room was clean and quite large, more than enough for a couple.

Guests at Jizokan Matsuya Ryokan stay in rooms with shoji paper screens and traditional futon bedding. All rooms are air-conditioned and include a TV and slippers. If I could give 100 stars to this ryokan, I would do it! It was absolutely stunning experience in Nagano, the whole family and staff are extremely friendly, kind and polite. They receive lots of international travelers and they understand tourists needs. You MUST book dinners and breakfasts with them! It was amazing experience! On a practical note: rooms were authentic, hot water, heater were reliable. Location is superb, close to the temple and delicious snacks. This place is ideal for alternative travelers interested in local tradition and with the appreciation for culture and history: I wish the owners only the best customers!

The accommodation offers 3-star accommodation with a sauna. The hotel is easy to access for the Shizuoka Marathon. It is about 1KM from the starting point. Breakfast and the big bath are also not bad.
