The staff was nice, particularly Hisham and Khaoula, but all other staff was nice too. The shower and bathroom was good. Breakfast is simple but good. The air conditioner was good, it wasn't very noisy.

Το Perla Hotel βρίσκεται σε απόσταση 2 λεπτών με τα πόδια από το σιδηροδρομικό σταθμό της πόλης Φες και 10 λεπτών με το αυτοκίνητο από τη Μεντίνα της Φες. It is old school hotel and we loved it. The entrance to the building reminded me like from the movies with all that flags, reception and own style. I think it is good value for the money and really good location if you come by train, because it is like quick 5min walk up street from it and also it is not far away from CTM bus station where you can take bus to go to Chefchaouen (10 minutes walk from the mosque which is little bit upper street from hotel) . Even if room furniture felt a little old, everything is clean, taken care of and was there for comfortable stay: stand for suitcase to put on, sockets next to beds, beds to sleep, TV, powerful AC, good Internet signal. We were served breakfast and it included many things like fresh pastries, yogurt, juice and tea/coffee. In front of hotel is small supermarket where you can get little snacks. Medina and all sightseeings are quite far away, so it is faster to get taxi there, but if you don't mind walking like us, it is walkable as well with weather not being too hot.

Great location, it saves one hassle to book taxi to go to rail station you can literally walk, could see pool from room. Another room had a view to the far away medina. Also many cheap restaurants and convenient stores nearby and you can order food also by online apps.
