It’s a nice place to walk around, read a book, eat organic food from the cafe. It’s also not far from another park with a grotto of caves. We loved being close to nature and out of the main drag.

The staff at breakfast were so nice!!! and the breakfast was tasty! I even bought their jam! the staff will help you find and book tours in the city and nearby areas - the tours are so great! And you can pay in the hotel, which is very convenient and safe!! We LOVED San Cristobal and staying in Ocho Barrios!

It is very quiet at night, even though it's only a block or two to the restaurant area. Shower has hot water, towels are clean. We could store our luggage for a couple of hours before check-in which was very helpful.
