The lights and heating were on when we arrived- a great welcome! The cottage was clean and cosy and was really thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly have needed. There was even food to feed the sheep and alpacas. The people who own the property were friendly and helpful and clearly wanted to give their guests the best experience possible. We just wished we had been able to stay more than just one night!

Everything! Very stylish house with big living space and amazing view from all the rooms. Also didn’t expect breakfast provided by the host, all came from local produce. We’ve seen many kangaroos (or maybe wallabies) wandering around the house. Also if you step out the house when it gets really dark, like midnight, you’ll be amazed by the milky ways in the sky. We were sad that we only stayed here for one night…

Devils Lair is a beautiful cozy cabin; the perfect place to relax by the fire or on the deck, stargaze and even catch a glimpse of the southern aurora. The croissants in the fridge that were ready to be baked fresh each morning were such a lovely touch. It was a little slice of heaven and I could have stayed for much longer than 2 nights.
