It was a lovely location on a bend in the river, with a wonderful view of the castle from the garden. We even saw an otter swimming in the river. It was exceptionally quiet and private. It was a great starting point for walks/hikes in every direction. The property was well equipped for its size, and there were two outside seating areas - on the verandah and on a wooden pier jutting out over the river. Simply but well furnished in wood and bright colours. The hostess was very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful time here! The house is spotlessly clean and full of delightful little surprises and clever touches. There are so many great features, from the speaker system to the boat, everything added to the experience. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking, with breathtaking trails all around. The host and his daughter were incredibly kind and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day!
