Great place to stay! We had the appartment at the ground floor with the garden where we used to chill out in the evening There is a kitchen, living room, bathroom with shower and the bedroom. There is also a washing machine. At the corner of the street there is a small supermarket so we could buy there the things we needed. Mohamed - the owner of Villa Diletta - was very very helpful every time we needed him Everybody was very kind Amazing experience!

Everything was perfect. The place is beautiful, even more stunning than in the pictures. It is a true oasis, one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. Gaber and Mohamed are excellent people, very helpful and respectful. We asked for privacy and they adapted perfectly. In addition, Gaber organized all the tours for us during our stay, completely personalized and accommodating new requests or unexpected changes. One of the best experiences we have ever had. Right from before we checked in to the time of check out, the host and help were extremely kind and helpful and made us feel right at home. They were right next door and the villa was as shown in pictures. Beautiful, cozy and homely. The pool was an added advantage. Omar was so kind that after checkout he even let us stay a few hours as our bus was delayed and it was very hot outside. At first after booking we were skeptical about staying on the West Bank, however, after staying here I wouldn’t want it any other way. I would stay on the West Bank over and over again as the people were so kind and the place was safe.

We really enjoyed staying in this accommodation, located on the less busy side of the river (West bank) with a short ferry to the main part of Luxor. Father and son duo of Adam and Mohamed treated us like family and were very helpful with any transport, boat rides or booking tours, they obviously know everything about where to go etc, making sure you spend less time stressing and more time swimming! (even coming and cooking breakfast every morning) We are very happy we found this accommodation and are even more glad to have met Mohamed and his family, we are excited to visit them again in the future !

28.04.–11.05. 2024 we spent 15 nights at Shahhat House. This is a beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable house with a large terrace, in a quiet area of the West bank, right in front of Medinet Habu Temple. The house has a lot of space and everything you need for a comfortable and quality stay. Hamdy, the owner of the house, communicated perfectly with us. Since he was not in Egypt at the time we arrived, his acquaintance, Mahmud, stood in for him. He came to the airport for us, stopped with us in the Village to buy food, water and an Eg. SIM c. He handed over the keys to the house, and arranged for us to have another great, challenging tour of the sights of Dendera, Gebel el-Silsia, and up to the Nile Islands in Aswan, and many other wonderful sights, exactly according to my itineraries. The house has a kitchen with equipment that is more than sufficient for preparing meals. Two beautiful bathrooms, always hot water. Comfortable beds. It's quiet around. A short distance behind the house there is an equipped pharmacy and a shop with water. There are two restaurants within easy reach. We went to Model Village for shopping by tuk-tuk or by taxi. Bakeries, lots of grocery stores, you name it. People here are friendly, always willing to help. There are many sights within easy reach. You can easily get to Luxor by boat from the port under the Village. Careful, always agree on the price in advance. The house has air conditioning and fans. You only need to turn on the air conditioning a moment before going to bed, the fans ran all night. It was enough. We didn't use the washing machine, but we did use the fridge. On the second day you get to know the surroundings and on the third day you already feel at home. I recommend this beautiful house to all. Six people can comfortably fit here. You can relax on the beautiful large terrace at sunset over the Medinet Habu temple. We thank Hamdy and Mahmud for the unforgettable experiences. Petr + Iva Prague CZE

    Beautiful villa at the West Bank of Luxor, close to the private boat. The room is very cozy and comfortable, also has a well-equipment kitchen and a clean private pool. Mr.Saleh is super friendly and very helpful for the informations and travel advices. Mr.Omar is always available and very helpful as well. Highly recommended if you visit Luxor!

    It is a villa with luxury conditions, furnished with taste and everything you need. It was quiet and we could rest very well. At walking distance there are several terraces where we dined at very reasonable prices.

    A private villa with garden and a lovely cat! The accommodation is located in a small alley of west band and it’s not able to show on Google map, but you can always use the map in booking.com; the host is friendly and whenever you have any question, just text them and they’ll reply in few minutes.
