Villas in Chaillac

From the warm and personal welcome by our hostess to the beautifully appointed accommodation provided by La Petite this offering was perfect for us. We loved its location in the medieval town of St Benoit du Sault; we loved its balcony overlooking the river; and we loved its cosy lounge, well equipped kitchen, good, hot shower and comfortable bed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to break the journey south on the A20 or looking to spend some time around the Centre-Val de Loire region.

Wonderful gite cottage was fabulous all facilities for our needs and located perfectly for lakeside views. The hosts were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us and spoke excellent English too We are looking forward to going back again x Excellent r

Wonderful location in a well laid out gite in part of an old mill. Ideal for a rural break on the edge of the Brenne National Park. The owners were friendly and attentive in preparing our accommodation.

We liked everything about La Maison Mignonne. We only stayed one night but wished we had more time to stay longer. We walked around the area, so quiet, Azerables is nice too! We met Tracey and Gary, and it was easy to chat.

Really lovely cottage, run by a very kind couple. A really nice place to arrive to after a long drive. Very restful evening. Highly recommend.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Gite du Grand Chene recently. Mel and Val were fabulous hosts, they were so welcoming and friendly and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. They were also very helpful giving us lots of information about places of interest to visit, the best local restaurants and local shops. Mel and Val even shared with us some delicious homemade pizza that they had made themselves in their outdoor pizza oven. The gite itself was newly renovated with everything we needed! Inside was immaculately clean, cosy and charming, retaining some of the original features of the building. The bed was really comfortable and the little electric fire and air conditioning kept us lovely and toasty and warm, We were overjoyed when we saw that Mel and Val had left us a little grocery bundle inside consisting of bread, cheese, ham, eggs and coffee, it was such a lovely surprise! We had gorgeous views from our windows across the garden and surrounding fields, we enjoyed watching the cows from our terrace with a cup of coffee in the morning. The highlight of our visit was using the hot tub which was absolutely amazing!!! It was huge inside and lovely and hot with pretty colour changing lights. My partner and I sat inside with a glass of prosecco star gazing looking at the moon and listening to the owls at night. We did have to pay a small additional charge to use the hot tub as it is costly to fill with fresh water and logs which fuel it but it was well worth it. Mel explained that it is free for guests to use if they stay for a week, Another highlight was playing badminton in the garden, we have never had so much fun in our lives!! The gite is situated in such a beautiful tranquil spot and we had such a relaxing, romantic stay. We felt sad to leave as we continued our travels further south but we left feeling so invigorated with our batteries fully charged. The gite is such a lovely little gem! We can't wait to come back!!
