Hubby and I have stayed here previously. We expected a little wear and tear but the property was immaculate and well maintained as we’d hoped. Definitely not disappointed. The hosts were totally helpful and hospitable. A host of treats welcomed us that we enjoyed throughout the week. The location is ideal for exploring or if the weather isn’t kind, there’s a gorgeous log burner to sit, snuggled up against the wind and rain, enjoying a good book. They have brought the the tv chángale up to date with a streaming device that gave us plenty to watch if we didn’t want to go out. There’s everything in the property that we would enjoy at home so we consider this a home from home but with much more beautiful views.

Beautiful lodge, wonderfully comfortable with very nice furnishings. Great activities (board games, books, dvds etc.) for rainy afternoons. Fantastic location and such beautiful surroundings. Truly a home away from home.

    We loved the handy location it was the perfect base to explore, we have family close by but we like to go out and about also. The house was gorgeous and the grounds stunning well maintained. It was like a little home from home for us with comfy beds and so quiet, we live in a village so are always nervous about noise but it was lovely and quiet. All mod cons and spotless. A little gem A+++
