Lovely hosts, beautiful property in a great location, and lots of conveniences in the house. Would recommend for a small group who wants to be able to walk to Kenrokuen, the castle, fish market, and other sights.

Kaga House is a beautiful place. The apartment is really Japanese with a low table but also modern. We slept in a normal bed and the kids on matrasses on Japanese Tatami mats. The apartment is very close to the Samurai district.

The host, Michio, was very friendly and picked us up from Kanazawa Station on the first day. He gave us some pointers and recommendations on the area, which was appreciated. The house itself is great, beautifully renovated with the authentic structure still in place. Last but not least the location could not be more convenient, as it's located about 15mins walk away from major tourist attractions such as Kenrokuen gardens and Higashi Chaya district. Recommended!
