Our stay at Gyedong Hanok 125 was truly exceptional. The spacious dining table easily fit our whole family, making meals and conversations a joy. The hanok is newly built yet fully equipped with modern amenities, so we enjoyed both the beauty of tradition and the comfort of convenience. The location is unbeatable—right on lively Gyedong-gil, with bakeries, cafés, gift shops, and restaurants just steps away. Major cultural spots like the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the Museum of Korean Craft, and Insadong are all within walking distance. What made it unforgettable was relaxing in the courtyard patio, looking up at the pine tree while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. A rare oasis in the middle of Seoul. The property is beautiful, a true Hanok experience. It was close to the palace and other markets. Truly the best experience. We were greeted lovingly with snacks and cold water given the weather, they let us check-in early to accommodate our travel and were quick to respond to any queries.
