Maduranga and his wife were exceptional hosts. They were both very warm, kind and friendly. I got caught in heavy rainfall and Maduranga offered to bring me an umbrella. His wife also made a home remedy for me to treat some insect bites that I had. The breakfast was abundant and varied and saw me through to way past lunchtime. The shower was excellent with hot water and the cleanliness of the room impeccable. A few days after my stay, he also checked in to see where I was and if I was ok. I highly recommend this homestay.

The room is surprisingly spacious, the view is great, everything is very comfortable. The hosts were amazing, thanks to their recommendations we got to see some beautiful places around Ella, like Nil Diya Pokuna. The location is close to some hiking trails like Little Adam's Peak, and has a couple of very nice restaurants. 30 minute walk to the Ella city center, or a 5 minute tuktuk ride.

The location was exceptionally stunning. High up in the mountain overlooking tea plantations and a valley below, it was breathtaking. We were given a very warm welcome by a team of staff who took good care of our needs. The house was beautifully appointed, luxurious and super comfortable.

Our family loved the homely vibe with clean rooms, bathroom and kitchenette. We were able to wash and dry our clothes, and do our own cooking for some meals. We also explored a nearby viewpoint/lookout and watched some movies that were on the TV provided. Definitely would stay again. Lal, the host, also provided us fruit and soft drinks, which was very kind.

Rustic Cottage is a tree house paradise nestled into the quieter side streets of Ella. The host family are wonderful and looked after me so well. The accommodation itself is one of a kind, the bathroom is one of a kind, and the whole place is very unique. The views are amazing and the breakfast too! I'd 100% recommend you stay here.

We had great time in a Silver Tips Villa. We stayed there for a few nights with breakfasts included. For this price, it was much better then we expected it would be. Rooms were very clear and comfortable. Hosts are very kind people, and breakfast prepared for us were delicious. Highly recommended

This place really blew our mind ! at start we didn't know we had to hike down the place to reach the room , quite scared at first but when we saw the view my God !! everything was just worth it ! The host ,the family were the sweetest , we stayed there for 3 days and we felt we were staying with a family. On our second day the pipeline broke due to sand erosion but the family late at night fixed it up by themselves. This you don't even see in any 5 star hotels. Tuk tusk would climb up the hill to reach us to our room and were easily available. Go to this place if you are looking for adventure and peace, if you are someone who loves luxury this place isn't for you. But it's one of a kind experience. You also need to be physically fit to climb up and down to the room and also carry some salt or Leech repellents since there are leeches since its closer to the waterfall.
