A comfortable villa located in a quiet village away from the crowded tourist hotels. A gorgeous, secluded beach with soft sand and palm trees is just 50 meters away. This beautifully appointed villa features a huge, fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living room. It also features two comfortable bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with fruit trees, seating areas, and a barbecue. The beautiful pool was specially cleaned at our request, for which we extend a special thanks to the villa owner. The villa is a 15-minute drive from Hikkaduwa's turtle beach. Keel's supermarket and an excellent seafood restaurant are a 5-minute drive away. I recommend this option for those seeking a secluded, comfortable getaway in the wild. I especially want to thank the villa owner for his responsiveness to all our requests.

We spent one night at the Black Monkey Villa in mid-September and felt completely at home. The accommodation is tastefully and functionally furnished - the air conditioning, hairdryer and fridge are in mint condition and worked perfectly. The beds are very comfortable and the covered outdoor area invites you to enjoy the beautiful view of the greenery even when it rains. The shower was a real highlight - by far the best we experienced during our stay in Sri Lanka. We were able to relax wonderfully and would definitely come back on our next visit to Sri Lanka!

We especially loved the extraordinary service Kumara and his wife Surangi provided, making our stay feel right at home. They live right near the villa and cater to your stay needs with care and permanent attention. Special thanks to Athula for getting us around to see the extraordinary nature and beaches around. We liked the villa positioning in the nature, with close proximity to Ambalangoda's wonderful beach and the local chill beach bars. The fresh fruits from the garden, the monkeys crossing in the trees and the fireflies at night make the place unique Also, the delicious traditional food prepared by Surangi and Kumara has been a delight.

Exceptional villa design, extraordinary hospitality of Irosh and his family. We had an amazing time here, highly recommended. AC in every room, very clean rooms and bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, dining and living rooms.
