We booked a room in this villa to finish of our Sri Lanka trip and we were rewarded an amazing stay here 😊 The staff is very kind and helpful. We loved having chats with Thilina and he took great care of us. The rooms were very clean and spacious including hairdryer, minibar, safe etc. Being first row at the beach, you can enjoy a swim in the sea and listen to the ocean sounds while relaxing at the pool. You can opt for either English or Sri Lankan breakfast. We choose the latter and loved it (especially the coconut rotties). In the evening, you can enjoy dinner at the villa prepared by the villa chef or take a tuktuk for about 400 LKR to Hikkaduwa beach where you’ll find plenty restaurants at the beach as well. We can definitely recommend both.

The villa is stunningly beautiful on a quiet end of the beach but still a very easy walk to bars and restaurants. The pool is the perfect temperate and we used it a lot. It’s accessible off the main road but it’s set back so you don’t hear it, we never noticed it. The decor of the villa is beautiful and tasteful, the rooms are comfortable and the AC and fan above the bed work really well. The bathroom is huge and I loved the open shower. We had the room on the ground floor leading out to the pool which was lovely and light. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Villa many times and never had a bad meal. Everything was delicious, fresh and well presented. On the last night we requested a seafood platter and it was the tastiest lobster and king prawns we have ever eaten! The chef is amazing and we loved every meal. They are all accommodating and happy to make the meals at a time to suit you which was great. The staff are amazing, friendly and warm and constantly cleaning the place, it was spotless. Sunil (the manager) is fantastic, we have travelled a lot and stayed at some high-end resorts but Sunil’s skills and touch in customer service is exemplary and it’s clear his team flourishes under his management. Sunil even recommended a restaurant in Colombo and made us a reservation as well as organising a great guide and driver. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back to Villa Saffron, we’re already planning a trip back with friends and family. It’s a slice of heaven!

We had an amazing relaxing 4 days stay in Orkid Villa. The pictures are the same as the house. Very newly built and has all the amenities of a house. There were 2 bedrooms and we travelled as a group so entire house was ours. We cooked food very comfortably. Its very near to beach 5-10minutes. Kumarakanda station is just oppsite the house (1min) so if you need train to Colombo, you can board here. Very sweet and humble family.

Very beautiful place, it was lovely and tidy when me an my family got there no hassle at all very straight forward, nice restaurants nearby at a low cost, felt very cozy and warm inside the villa, has a great beach nearby too so you can have a nice relaxing chill by the beach! The person who deals with the property was very helpful and kind wpupd go out his way to help and make sure all is okay! such a great experience will definitely go again! Highly recommend this place to anyone! Great food. Great price just great all round! Many thanks!!!!

We had an amazing time! The placement off the villa is perfect 10 minutes walk from narigame beach. Our favorite beach of hikkaduwa. But still u got the rest and serenity off you own appartment. The host were kind enough to let us in the villa early and let us stay later! The host came to bring us a coconut everyday.
