The best place we stayed in Montenegro. If you're going to Lipa Cave, this is the perfect location. You need to go through the cave parking lot and then just 100 meters up the mountain. You can even see the Lipa Cave parking from the house. The house is very private and charming. We enjoyed cooking bread and eggs outside while taking in the beautiful view. The owner met us at the Lipa Cave parking and showed us everything.

We cannot speak more highly about our stay at Konak. This is the country home of the owner's family, and it was a privilege to experience staying in the home of a true Montenegrin family with long ties to the area. We really loved the setting too, although it may not be to the taste of others. It is in a tiny village with a handful of people, but we relished the quiet ruralness of it, and the peace, and the opportunity for walks in the nearby national park area. We were met by the lady of the house and her son who were so welcoming. Special home baked biscuits and a bottle of the local wine were laid out for us , and the fridge contained onions hand picked from their own vegetable garden. Such very delightful hosts. The house is very large so would suit a family, is very comfortable and contains everything that one might need. In hindsight, we would have like to stay here for longer.

The place was like from to photos! A cozy, warm, and comfortable new cabin with new and comfortable furniture. The kitchen and the bathroom are fully and modernly equipped, as the description says. If you are an animal lover, you will love more its rural neighborhood with tamed dogs (the most beautiful dogs you will ever see), cats, and horses. We experienced a small situation with bugs because we stayed during the rainy spring season, but the host react immediately to our call and fixed everything at the speed of light. The host was very polite and 24/7 at our disposal during the entire stay. The place is 10 min from the city centre by car. For those who can not travel by car, a taxi can come all the way to the house and costs about 4 e.
