Jovanna's house is phenomenal - truly beyond words! 🤩🤩🤩 It is large, spacious, beautiful, super cozy, and decorated with incredible attention to detail. When we arrived, the house was already warm and fragranted wonderful. It was also spotlessly clean throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, making it easy to feel at home. In fact, the entire house is designed to provide maximum comfort and wonderful atmosphere. The fireplace and infrared sauna were absolute highlights of our stay. The driveway was cleared of snow for us, and we were able to park our car conveniently in the carport. The view from the terrace, overlooking the bay and the stunning mountain landscape, is breathtaking. Thanks to the low light pollution, we could even see the northern lights from the house. For an even better view, we recommend driving up to the “Bergsbotn Utsiktsplattform.” The location on Senja is also perfect for visiting nearby hotspots and exploring the area. Jovanna is a fantastic host - extremely friendly, super personable, quick to respond, and helpful. She proactively provided us with lots of tips and information, making our stay even more enjoyable. The check-in process was very flexible and straightforward, thanks to the key box. We felt incredibly comfortable during our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. If we visit Senja again, we will absolutely book Jovanna’s house without hesitation. We can’t recommend her house enough - it was by far the best accommodation of our two-week vacation. Absolutely Exceptional Stay – Warm, Welcoming, and Unforgettable Staying at this property was an incredibly heartwarming experience. It's not your typical tourist accommodation with no soul – on the contrary, it feels like a true home. From the moment you arrive, you're made to feel like part of a family. We were lucky enough to meet the hosts in person, and they are truly amazing – by far the kindest and most generous we've ever had the pleasure of booking with. When our rental car company failed to provide a baby car seat, they generously lent us their own for the entire duration of our trip – even though we only stayed at their property for the first half. That kind of kindness is rare. They were extremely accommodating, responsive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure our stay – and our whole trip – went smoothly. Even when additional family members joined us, it was no issue at all. The cabin itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of both the water and the mountains. It's fully stocked with everything you could possibly need – from blankets and towels to kitchen supplies. Families will especially appreciate the thoughtful touches like children's toys and even a trampoline. We were also able to charge our electric car at the property, which was a huge convenience. We truly have only positive things to say. If you're looking for a place to stay in Senja, book this amazing cabin – not only for the beautiful surroundings and excellent amenities but also to support this wonderful family and maybe help them fund a little holiday of their own somewhere else. The name of this place sums it up nicely. This is truly an extremely cozy house in a stunning location. You can watch the Northern Lights directly from the huge terrace (been there, done that!) or simply relax, lulled to sleep by the waves. Within a walking distance to Husøy. A great starting point for trips around Senja. Officially added to my list of favorite places on Earth! Thank you, Olivia, for your hospitality!
