Everything about this place was great! A clean, modern, cozy place to stay offering everything a guest could wish to have a pleasant stay! It felt like home from the very beginning, it was very clean, we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, watching the aurora from the terrace and spending time in the generous living room. We will gladly visit again!

Tommy is just the most fantastic host ever. We have travelled and stayed in hosts houses worldwide and I can safely say that there is none other that we've encountered who is more genuine, friendly, caring and truly loved what he does. He shared food and stories with us and the only thing we regret is that we only spent one night at Elvestua out of our 10 days in Norway. We will definitely plan to come back to experience the Northern Lights here and more importantly, to catch up with Tommy. A host who has become a friend in less than 24 hours! Very nice and comfortable cabin at a beautiful location! Located in the woods and at a lakeside. Large windows in living room and in the fully equipped kitchen with a splendid view at lake and trees. Host advised us to rent a 4x4 car as private road could have snow in the winter. No wifi available but cell reception is excellent.

This amazing villa in Finnsnes is an ideal base if you are about to explore Senja by car or to hike right away in the area. We found this cosy house as comfortable as our own home. It contains a roomy, well equipped kitchen, enough space to rest and even a laundry room in the basement. We spent an unforgettable week here and we wouldn't hesitate a minute to stay here again if we were to travel Northern Norway anytime in the future.

The house is fantastic. We had no problems to find anything. There is a huge and comfortable sofa with a TV, nice view from dining room, huge kitchen sufficient for basic cooking. Washing machine even with a dryer. The only problem i found out was that we didn't actually wanna leave the house at all... But there is all beautiful Norway just in reach.

Absolutely Exceptional Stay – Warm, Welcoming, and Unforgettable Staying at this property was an incredibly heartwarming experience. It's not your typical tourist accommodation with no soul – on the contrary, it feels like a true home. From the moment you arrive, you're made to feel like part of a family. We were lucky enough to meet the hosts in person, and they are truly amazing – by far the kindest and most generous we've ever had the pleasure of booking with. When our rental car company failed to provide a baby car seat, they generously lent us their own for the entire duration of our trip – even though we only stayed at their property for the first half. That kind of kindness is rare. They were extremely accommodating, responsive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure our stay – and our whole trip – went smoothly. Even when additional family members joined us, it was no issue at all. The cabin itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of both the water and the mountains. It's fully stocked with everything you could possibly need – from blankets and towels to kitchen supplies. Families will especially appreciate the thoughtful touches like children's toys and even a trampoline. We were also able to charge our electric car at the property, which was a huge convenience. We truly have only positive things to say. If you're looking for a place to stay in Senja, book this amazing cabin – not only for the beautiful surroundings and excellent amenities but also to support this wonderful family and maybe help them fund a little holiday of their own somewhere else.
