A great option, especially if you need to be close to town. I absolutely loved the interior decor with the fine touches and all the house plants gave that homely feel. Well stocked kitchen with more than what you need.. Really a cozy space. The space upstairs is great with a stunning walk in rain shower. The aircon and fan was a win as it was a very hot couple of days in Paarl.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Everything was so thoughtfully planned, beautifully organized, and impeccably clean. The quirky decorations added so much character — we fell in love with every detail. The location was perfect: just far enough from the busy town center to enjoy peace and quiet, yet still within easy walking distance. The views from both the upstairs and downstairs rooms were stunning. And that little splash pool? An absolute winner on hot summer days — such a clever use of space!

We had such a wonderful stay at this charming self-catering cottage. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our host, Lodewyk, who was absolutely fantastic. He handed over the keys, gave us a quick and helpful run-through of everything we needed to know, and made us feel right at home from the start. Super friendly and easy to chat with, he even checked in with us via WhatsApp during our stay to make sure we were doing okay and helped us figure out transportation options to town, including a great TukTuk alternative! While the cottage isn’t directly in the town center, we actually enjoyed the short stroll in—it’s located in a peaceful, safe neighborhood where we felt completely comfortable at all times. The cottage itself is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated; with all the comforts you could want. We loved the cozy fireplace on the chilly evenings (with wood thoughtfully provided), and the electric heated blanket on the bed was a wonderful touch. It made for the perfect Netflix-and-chill kind of evening! The kitchen was fully equipped, and we especially appreciated the Nespresso machine and coffee pods—such a lovely detail. The space is ideal for a couple, with a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Lodewyk is a fantastic host, and this cottage is a gem—private, peaceful, and perfectly appointed. We’ll definitely be back!
