We loved staying at the quaint little ‘Ofenhaus’! It was everything we expected, based on the Booking.com description, and maybe even a bit better. :) The cleanliness was exemplary! I really am quite exacting concerning hygiene — and this place was literally spotless! The whole place smelt of fresh laundry when we walked in — it really doesn’t get any better than that! The water temperature and pressure in the shower are great! Since both my husband & I have long, luxurious hair, this is a crucial point for us. Many holidays have been ruined, alas, because of bad (cold, weak) showers — but not at the ‘Ofenhaus’! Everything works to perfection! The location is really quiet & calm, but the beautiful medieval town of Murten can be reached on foot (via a short walk of 1km). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely book the ‘Ofenhaus’ again if we happened to stay in the area in the future!

Everything! Super cute house on two floors, with a fantastic kitchen, dining, lounge area and an amazing terrace. Extremely well equipped and incredibly quiet. A perfect place for exploring the gorgeous area. We were cycling and we appreciated the safe storage for the bikes. We cooked and enjoyed the sunny evening on the terrace but there’s otherwise a restaurant 2 minutes by foot. Very easy communication with the owner and easy check in/out. Recommended without hesitation!

Very friendly and helpful owners. Spacious, new house with very good beds and nice amenities. No noise from the street with the windows closed. Good location for excursions and a nice children's playground in the village. The garage was very useful and spacious.
