We boekte dit huisje om kerst te vieren. Op het kleine keukentje kookten we een drie-gangen maaltijd. Alles werkte geweldig! Op loopafstand zit een gezellig lokaal restaurant met super lief personeel en echt heerlijk eten! Het huisje en het zwembad zijn heerlijk schoon en alles voelt zeer hygiënisch aan, bovendien hadden we een heerlijk warme douche! Dat was voor ons al een tijdje geleden ;). Vanuit het zwembad zagen we toekans vliegen en 's nachts hoor je allerlei jungle geluiden. Je waant je echt even in een andere wereld. De host is geweldig en bood aan ons even naar het centrum te rijden, heel lief! Ze hielp ons met het huren van fietsen zodat we vanaf Villa Wolaba overal konden komen. Echt top!

Already the arrival was very pleasant: We were welcomed by Gabriel who picked us up from the boat and walked us to our house. The house was great! Lovely decorations, super clean, good wifi, kitchen equipped with everything you need, quiet and with green all around and right at the boarder of the National Park. Gabriel and his colleague Rodrigo gave us a little walking tour around the village with recommendations for restaurants and info/history about the town with a visit to the Turtle Museum. They were such great guys that we decided to do a Canoe tour with them the next morning and also that we enjoyed very much. Tortuguero is amazing and peaceful with its infinite beach, the canals & the park with its amazing wildlife - definitely one of our highlights of our Costa Rica trip.

Great and hidden "secret" small boutique accommodation nearby Puerto Viejo del Talamanca (20-30 minutes walk) and Playa Negra (5 minutes walk). The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and they gave some good tips and hints e.g. for Cahuita national park visit. The accommodation is in separated houses with one spacious room and huge terrance. Each morning they are serving a coffee at 6:30AM before actual breakfast time (07:30AM). It was to drink coffee in the morning in the terrance and listen the jungle / garden sounds. The place also have nice small garden and big roof terrance to walk / stay.

New Caribe Point ligt in Cahuita in de regio Limon. Het biedt een buitenbad en watersportfaciliteiten. Puerto Viejo vindt u op 14 km afstand. WiFi is gratis beschikbaar in alle ruimtes. Very clean accommodation in beautiful surroundings. The hosts were making sure we had everything we needed. Their kindness definitely exceeded our expectations. The whole place is very well maintained, super clean. It's a great location almost at the beach, and walking distance to the centre of Cahuita and the Cahuita National Park. There was also an opportunity to rent bikes, free of charge, which was a great addition to our stay. We had a fantastic time staying at New Caribe Point. Definitely recommend! :)

Green Corner ligt in Cahuita in de regio Limon, op 4 minuten lopen van Playa Blanca en biedt gratis WiFi, een barbecue, een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. We were completely satisfied with your three-week stay. The equipment of the cottage in which we stayed corresponds to the given category and is functional. The owner is very friendly and helpful. But what is absolutely exceptional is the location of the accommodation. The cottage is in a beautiful garden on the border of the town and the Cahuita National Park. This means that in a few minutes you can reach a well-stocked supermarket, restaurants. At the same time, you are a short distance from several beautiful and (in July) almost empty beaches and a tropical rainforest. As a bonus, capuchin and howler monkeys roam around the cottage almost daily, but you can also see agoutis, toucans and hummingbirds there. It's like you are staying in the middle of a zoo.

Namaitami bevindt zich op 5 minuten lopen van Playa Chiquita en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een patio en gratis WiFi. Everything was great, the apartment it very nice and comfortable.

Casa Selvamar, un oasis en la selva is gelegen in Tortuguero op slechts 6 minuten lopen van Playa Tortuguero, en biedt accommodatie met een balkon, tuin en buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open... We had an amazing stay in Tortuguero at Raquel’s property! She was incredibly kind and welcoming — she even picked us up from the Roots office, which was such a nice gesture and made our arrival super easy. We were lucky to be among the first guests, and everything in the house felt brand new, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared. The setup was perfect for our group of 8, as we were able to enjoy both houses while sharing the garden and the patio. The space is ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring Tortuguero, and the attention to detail really made a difference. We recommend this place!
