Staff was amazing, truly wanted to make us comfortable. One of the big reasons we went with this hotel was the availability of the free bikes- which unfortunately kept breaking down. But they went out of their way to fix them for us. We also appreciate the do it-yourself laundry available, and the clean pool to cool off in, during the late afternoon when it’s really hot. The air conditioning worked really well and the location is great; as it is not in the middle of the downtown hustle and bustle. Very close to the national park - we biked there three times! Nice restaurant - Reggae’s - very close. Easy access to stretch of black sand beach that was not full of tourists. We spotted all kinds of tropical birds in the property and a sloth right across the street.

The equipment of the cottage in which we stayed corresponds to the given category and is functional. The owner is very friendly and helpful. But what is absolutely exceptional is the location of the accommodation. The cottage is in a beautiful garden on the border of the town and the Cahuita National Park. This means that in a few minutes you can reach a well-stocked supermarket, restaurants. At the same time, you are a short distance from several beautiful and (in July) almost empty beaches and a tropical rainforest. As a bonus, capuchin and howler monkeys roam around the cottage almost daily, but you can also see agoutis, toucans and hummingbirds there. It's like you are staying in the middle of a zoo.

This property was very clean and the location was great for walking to the national park and restaurants. The host was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this location.

We stayed in the Gata room, the other two rooms looked just as amazing with two queen size beds which were very comfortable. The outside kitchen and pool area was tastfully decorated and fully equipped with everything you need if you want to prepare a large dinner or party. The pool was clean and water clear and perfect temperature. And the nature, wow! Woke up to howler monkeys every morning and the variety of birds was entertaining as well as other jungle animals, iguanas, etc.
