With lake views, this accommodation provides a patio. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The most jaw-dropping place I've ever rented. Huge living room with large comfy couch and 80(?) inch TV for relaxation after long days of walking. Large, well-equipped kitchen. One large bed room and one enormous bed room. Usually large and comfortable beds. All beautifully decorated in a mix of classic and bohemian style. Stein Inn (very nice pub) and Loch Bay (Michelin star restaurant) in walking distance (but a bit of a walk; almost 4 km). The host is very responsive and friendly (not that we had any issues, but we had some questions before arriving).

This place was VERY nice for the price. Honestly I’m surprised how cheap it was compared to anything else on Skye. You get major value for your money. The hosts are amazing too, and the facilities are well built and extremely clean/new. A+ would recommend to everyone.

Towels and bed linen are offered in the holiday home. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Only a short drive out of Portree the location was superb with amazing views. Very comfortable for our group with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen so we could cook breakfast to start our day! Also a washing machine and dryer was a bonus for our 4 night stay. Recommend the Sunday roast down the road at Skeabost hotel was amazing also and recommended by our host. Would definitely stay here again as a good base for exploring the Isle of Skye.

We can’t say enough good things about the owners or the facilities. Absolute gem of a place and John & Karen are salt of the earth people. The location is gods country with endless beauty. We could spend the rest of our lives combing the beaches of this area for the rest of time.

I recommend this place for those traveling to Skye.
