We stayed this month with family and it was absolutely amazing, my kids enjoyed the horses, the view, it was an amazing experience and a real change to the hustle and bustle of life in the city. Hygge house was just amazing! It was so lovely and clean, the beds were super comfy, it was spacious, it was very close to visiting my aunt, the shower was lovely and powerful! It was just absolutely fabulous, amazing house and we can't wait to stay again! Owned by the nicest people who let us check in really early due to a really early flight!

The property was very clean, perfect location for anyone visiting Alton towers, very comfy beds, lovely village, quiet, it had all of the appliances and supplies we needed for travelling with our baby, modern but also a nice homey cottage atmosphere. Definitely recommend booking Brook Cottage if you’re in the area… it’s in a stunning location with wonderful views and yet still incredibly close to amenities, pubs, cafes and the Picturedrome. The attention to detail is fabulous and it’s clear the cottage has been lovingly renovated to deliver all the cosiness you’ll love, with a modern twist. We were particularly touched to see milk in the fridge and snacks in the cupboard, and the number of USB chargers around the place worked well for us too. The property is spotlessly clean and tidy as well as very tastefully decorated - a real home from home.
