The location is about a 25-minute drive from Cortina, nestled slightly up in the mountains, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere with breathtaking views of the snow-covered Italian Alps. Although it’s in a tranquil setting, it’s also conveniently located—once you drive down to the main road, you’ll find a supermarket and several restaurants nearby. The access to Cortina d'Ampezzo is smooth, taking less than 30 minutes. The chalet was spacious enough for our family of five, allowing us to relax comfortably. The beds were just the right firmness, and having two bathrooms was a great convenience. The main bathroom even had a bathtub, perfect for unwinding after a long day of skiing. The interior was elegant and well-maintained, and it was clear that this home is cherished with great care. On top of that, our host, Alessia, was incredibly kind and responsive. She answered all our questions promptly, making communication easy and stress-free.

We spent an incredible four days in this house — it was an amazing experience! The place had everything we needed, and even more. It was very clean and cozy, and we truly felt happy there. In the evenings, we sat by the fireplace enjoying Italian wine, and during the days (and even at sunrise) we explored the Dolomites. Luca’s is an outstanding host — he welcomed us warmly with a bottle of local sparkling wine, and we were absolutely delighted when one evening he treated us to an incredible Italian red wine. We’re very grateful for all the tips he shared and the useful information about the region. We’ll definitely come back to relive this wonderful experience!

The accommodation had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, cutlery, a fridge, oven, and more, making it easy to prepare and share meals with friends or family. The convenience of having the main bedroom with its own bathroom, along with a shared bathroom for the two single-bed rooms, was a great feature. Although there’s a bus stop at the end of the street, we had a car, which made it even easier to explore the area. For us, it was a perfect and very enjoyable stay.
