The apartment was spacious, spotless, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location was great, just a few minutes’ walk to the nearest beaches and cafés. The owners were so friendly that we truly felt like we were visiting family. Assenza is a smaller town, but it has a grocery store, lovely cafés, and restaurants, and it’s easy to get to other cities on Garda by bus.

There were more than enough cups, plates, utensils, bottle openers, lotions, shampoos, etc. Everything we needed or thought of was already taken care of. Even when I asked for an extra fan, the host had one in the room waiting for me. The location was amazing. A 5-10 min walk gets you to a bus or train station that takes you all over Venice. With tons of restaurants, grocery stores, and shops in a pretty little neighborhood, there’s no need for a car unless you’re traveling outside of Venice.
