Kandy Living Homestay bevindt zich in Kandy en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een terras en een bar. Ons derde verblijf op onze reis en ook deze is een echte aanrader. Een verblijf aan de rand van Kandy stad, weg van de drukte dus, maar dicht bij alles. Wij zijn niet zo ‘stadsgezind’ maar konden deze reis niet maken zonder Kandy mee te pikken. De stad zelf vonden wij niet zo bijzonder, in tegenstelling tot waar we verbleven. Wat je ziet is wat je krijgt. Een super hartelijke host en haar team staan in voor de volledige ZEN ervaring. Een ongelooflijk mooi, charmant verblijf in de natuur. Omgeven door rijstvelden, vruchtenbomen, en een weelderige tuin. Ze zijn hierdoor zelfvoorzienend en dit weerspiegelt zich in hun ontbijt en niet te missen KOOKLES. Dit raad ik iedereen aan die graag de traditionele curry’s en lokale kookkunsten van Sri Lanka onder de knie wil krijgen. Daarnaast was de gehele accomodatie proper, comfortabel en een echte meerwaarde voor onze reis doorheen het land. Ook hier zou ik met veel plezier naar terugkeren. Een topverblijf met fantastische mensen.

From arrival to departure all the staff were friendly willing to help and flexible. My partner and I enjoy an early coffee at our home and looked forward to something not Nescafe. Spoke to the kitchen guys, "no problem", 6am? No problem. Freshly brewed while I watched chopping of onions and grinding of fresh coconut. Nothing was a problem! Meals, hot, fresh tasty, varied. Breakfast and dinner both excellent. Nice pool liked by the children. Pretty garden. Second time in Sri Lanka and I guess I won't make it again in this life. Hopefully my children and their children will return to stay with the Surveyor's crew.

Great place; we extended our stay. Comfortable room (with fridge), panoramic mountain jungle vistas, tranquil location with many birds, and a very hospitable host. Nearby shops and main road access, and a great supermarket just a short tuk-tuk ride away.

De Mountbatten Bungalow- Thema Collection - Kandy ligt in Kandy en biedt een buitenzwembad en een ruim zonneterras. Het heeft eigen kookgelegenheid en WiFi is gratis beschikbaar in alle ruimtes. The grounds and the facilities are perfect. The chalet rooms are excellent and give you the feeling of being in the jungle. The staff, especially Chulan, are superb and happily arranged tours and hikes. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Tea Escape Holiday Villa and Cabanas is gelegen in Gampola, op 18 km van Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi, een gedeelde keuken, en een gedeelde lounge. My stay at Tea Escape was genuinely memorable. The views are stunning and create such a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious every day, and you can really taste the care that goes into each dish. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Everything was spotless and well maintained. I’d happily return and definitely recommend it to others.

Hebron Gardens House is a haven of beauty, tranquility, and perfection.

Tea Heritage bevindt zich in Urulewatta, op 11 km van Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens en 16 km van Treinstation Kandy, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en een buitenzwembad. We booked Tea Heritage after seeing how beautiful the property looked online and how reasonably priced it was, and it exceeded our expectations from the very beginning. Communication with the host was excellent even before we arrived. We had a few specific requests, especially around my partner’s dietary needs, and the host was more than happy to accommodate everything. They were flexible, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay exactly how we wanted it. The food was a major highlight. We were served delicious home-cooked meals with a great variety of dishes tailored to our preferences, even accommodating last-minute requests without any hesitation. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The property itself is spacious, private, and incredibly serene. It felt like a true escape into nature, surrounded by misty hills and peaceful views. We love outdoor experiences, and being offered a visit to a nearby organic farm was a wonderful bonus and one of the most memorable parts of our stay. We were also surprised with a candlelit dinner to celebrate our special occasion, which made our engagement even more magical. It was the perfect setting, and we genuinely could not have asked for a better place for such an important moment in our lives. A special mention to Palitha, who took great care of us throughout our stay, and to Dinu, the co-host and chef, who always made sure we were comfortable, well-fed, and well looked after, and not to Forget Thilina, the other co-host who was always available on the phone to coordinate everything. Their hospitality made a big difference. Amazing privacy, stunning views, a beautiful location, and heartfelt service. We absolutely loved our stay and are already looking forward to visiting again.

Rainbow Villa ligt in Mahiyangana. Er is gratis WiFi en privéparkeren op het terrein. My wife and I spent two days at Rainbow Villa in Mahiyangana. It was a very nice accommodation. There were large rooms with beautiful fresh air conditioning. There were several special places that could be visited on foot from the accommodation. This accommodation had a beautiful kitchen. There were all the ingredients to make tea. This villa had the ability to cook food. We also got clean drinking water. The washroom in this villa was a place where we could clean our minds. The water in the bathroom was also good. There was hot water in the bathroom. The Mahiyangana Rajamaha Viharaya was within walking distance. Since the Mahiyangana Sorabora Lake was located very close to this villa, we were able to take a bath. The owner of this villa was very humble and kind and provided us with all the facilities we needed with a smile. We had good security. We got the food we needed very deliciously. The past two days are a beautiful memory that will never be forgotten in life. We will come back to Rainbow Villa soon. Thank you for all the hospitality. We recommend Rainbow Villa as the best place to get accommodation in Mahayanganaya with confidence.

Victoria Range Holiday Villas bevindt zich op 4,2 km van Pallekele International Cricket Stadium en biedt een buitenzwembad en een tuin. We had a wonderful stay, next time we stay a bit longer to enjoy all the fancy facilities of the property. Chaminda is a really lovely host, his communication is fantastic, sent lots of information before we checked in and was always on hand with help and recommendations from the moment we arrived in Sri Lanka, even helped organize taxis and restaurant recommendations before we even arrived in Kandy, we could not ask for more from a host. The villa is beautiful, with a green garden area with an open terrace and lounge. Among the facilities at this property are fully equipped kitchen facilities and guests can enjoy their own cooking free Wi-Fi throughout the property. If you are in Kandy and want a peaceful out of town stay, this villa is for you 👌
