Our house (the biggest) had a wood stove - together with the air conditioner, the house quickly warmed us up in winter. And the smell of firewood is fantastic! Outside the house there is a large fire pit and a veranda with a vintage large table. We will be happy to come back!

There was a grill available outside, which was perfect for barbecues, and the house had heaters inside, so it was warm and comfortable even on cooler evenings. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Just a five-minute walk away, there’s a jetty and a small swimming spot (€10 for the day), as well as a lovely fish restaurant nearby. That said, it’s equally perfect to simply relax at the property and soak in the view.

The host had curated the house in such a way that you felt as if you were staying somewhere special. amazing veranda. It is in part a working village so cows, a donkey and a goat and chickens wondering freely, including cockerels. A short walk down to the bridge to go water jumping and a small restaurant. Theres a second restaurant just down the river, which was our preferred spot for swimming and we ate their when we arrived, as we were late in the season and it was on the last weekend. There is also a campsite with a bar. its rural and unspoilt. we hired a boat to go up to the lake. while it is off the main raod itdoes not in fact take long to get to the new and old capitals that are close by, maybe 40 mins. there are also some vineyards not far away. for us just chilling and relaxing by the river and on the veranda with its big views was so cool.
