I was truly amazed by this place from the moment we arrived. The cottage sits on a hill nestled in the heart of the gorge, with cliffs towering overhead and nothing but peace all around. Our hosts greeted us with genuine warmth, surprising us with а plate of fresh homegrown cherries—a sweet touch that made our stay even more special. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, thoughtfully designed, and simply beautiful. Inside, you’ll find everything you might need (and a few extras you forgot). The terrace is perfect for sipping morning coffee in silence or enjoying a glass of prosecco at sunset while watching the rocks glow. The location is ideal: from Komarnica it’s easy to reach Žabljak and the Sedlo Pass, and you can hike right through the gorge itself. Highly recommended!

The amenities are fully up to date and you have everything you need like wifi air conditioning and even a dish washer. Everything was super clean when we arrived and the staff was very nice.

An amazing family Vila located in a beautiful valley with an amazing view. The host is very kind and thoughtful, made sure that we had everything that we needed, and surprised us with daily perks (ice cream, traditional breakfast muffins etc.).

It's a true family run property. The owners are wonderful. Everything is nice and new, and there's plenty of room for kids to play ball with the mountains surrounding them in the distance. There are trails all over the mountains for hiking, cycling, atvs, or suvs. The Gagovic Brothers bridge crosding Piva Lake is just over a half hour beautiful drive away and would be a great place to kayak or stand up paddleboard or hiking. The breakfast is homemade and everything sourced from their garden or neighboring villagers. It feels very remote, yet there are restaurants with great food, service, and views nearby. We drove the full loop up p5, across p14, and down E762 and over to Monte Escape on a long, beautiful road. This place was a great starting and ending point. We really liked the family and getting to know their story and look forward to returning. Highly recommend if you are looking for a true family vacation.
