The villa is beautifully situated on a mountainside. For greater comfort, it is worth taking a 4x4 car - although in our case a regular sedan also did the trick. The location of the villa - ideal - you can easily and quickly reach every corner of the island.

It takes less than 10 minutes to drive to Fisherman's Market. While the villa is a bit far from the main road for walking, this ensures a peaceful and quiet environment. The surrounding villas are well-separated by trees, providing privacy in the garden.

Kristen, who owns and single-handedly runs the lodge (don’t be misled by the term lodge—it’s far more than that), is truly remarkable. I arrived at 10:30 PM, exhausted, and there she was, waiting with a platter of fresh fruit and a drink. Her warm smile instantly reassured me that I had made the right choice to end my vacation. The lodge itself is spotless, impeccably maintained, and has a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Kristen is an incredibly kind and attentive host, taking care of every request, helping with bookings, and offering valuable insights on the best spots in Koh Samui—including hidden gems off the beaten path. Honestly, I can’t stop raving about this place to all my friends heading to Koh Samui. Without a doubt, I’ll be returning to Thailand, and when I do, Orchid Lodge Samui will be my go-to accommodation. Thank you, Kristen, for making the end of my vacation absolutely perfect!

We had the privilege of enjoying two different villas, and each one of them is unic and wonderfully. The lovely and kind stuff were 100% committed to making us feel like royalty. Each one of them make us feel so welcome and so happy in every opportunity they have. The breakfast is great and has also western options to choose. If I could give them 1 million stars, I would give them for sure! Do not think it twice.
