Khun Tan the cook was able to make everything from western breakfast, Asian style, coffee and more. Every evening meal was delicious and fresh from the markets. Kiki and Sarah the Villa hosts were great at listening, helping organise anything we needed at the Villa, advising on the area, organising massages with Khun Rong and made my husbands birthday special with a delicious cake. All staff smile, are polite and helpful and make you feel so welcome.

Every detail is thoughtfully designed, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable with high-quality sheets that made for a perfect night’s sleep. I also really appreciated the kettle and the little extras in the room—they added such a lovely touch. The location is fantastic, also on the beach and the staff was so attentive and kind.

My room was very comfortable, every detail of furniture is well-thought, I really loved everything. But the most exceptional was the direct sea view from the little terrace - it was simply breathtaking. I enjoyed chilling there so much that I miss it already and want to come back soon. Amazing hosts - Amit and his whole family and staff, the guys were extremely helpful and provided transfers to and from the beach every day upon request. This was very convenient, thank you guys!

I traveled solo to Thailand for a month, needing a break to step away from my daily struggles and truly unwind. Thailand is ideal for any type of traveler, so I balanced my time between intense hiking and pure relaxation. For the final week of my trip, I set my sights on Koh Samui, searching for a centrally located place that was still peaceful and away from the crowds. After browsing countless listings and reviews, I discovered The Orchid Lodge. The photos exuded tranquility—exactly what I was looking for. Plus, the price was surprisingly reasonable for what was offered—great value for money—so I booked it without hesitation. I could go on and on about this place. Kristen, who owns and single-handedly runs the lodge (don’t be misled by the term lodge—it’s far more than that), is truly remarkable. I arrived at 10:30 PM, exhausted, and there she was, waiting with a platter of fresh fruit and a drink. Her warm smile instantly reassured me that I had made the right choice to end my vacation. The lodge itself is spotless, impeccably maintained, and has a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Kristen is an incredibly kind and attentive host, taking care of every request, helping with bookings, and offering valuable insights on the best spots in Koh Samui—including hidden gems off the beaten path. Honestly, I can’t stop raving about this place to all my friends heading to Koh Samui. Without a doubt, I’ll be returning to Thailand, and when I do, Orchid Lodge Samui will be my go-to accommodation. Thank you, Kristen, for making the end of my vacation absolutely perfect!
