We were not sure how to access the keys at first as we had to enter the black door on the south side first. As there is an apartment in the other half of the house we though we would be entering somebodys apartment by opening the doors. But then the key was easy to find and the apartment was perfect for an overnight stay.

Set just 1 km from Hornafjördur Airport, this guest house offers guest rooms with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi access. The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. The location was perfect (view to the mountain) to watch the northern lights. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. The reception lady was super nice. Everything was perfect

Just 1 km off Iceland’s Ring Road, this privately-run guest house is 4 km from Höfn town centre. It offers free WiFi, scenic views of the surrounding nature and a furnished terrace in the garden. The size of the room (nice view), extremely clean and equipped shower, quality bedding. All of the above surpassed all of our other past accommodations.

Quite small but fit for what I needed. Theres no cooking area in the 2 people apartment, and it said it had kitchen, but realistically it is only fridge and a sink. The bed was upside down so I had to remake it since I didn't wanna sleep on springs digging into my back. The key box was also quite annoying because to close it i had to type in the pin code again. But other than that great view, comfortable bed. And that's really all you need.

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. Very spacious room. Beautiful views out the window. Beds were really comfortable. They thought of all the little things. A place for your suitcase. A wall mirror. Hangers for your jackets. Spot under them for your shoes. A nice table to work from. Tv. Very fast wifi. Washroom was big and the shower was nice. very clean. Staff were super friendly. Breakfast was good. Thanks for a great stay!
