I loved the property gardens, the river view and hippos, the cuisine and most of all the warm reception by your staff. They treated me as if I were a Queen. My favorite staff member Emanuel is a gem. I am hoping I can visit again with more friends and family.

Overlooking the Mara River, home to hippos and crocodiles, all tents at Fairmont Mara have a private veranda. Game drives, an outdoor heated pool with bar, and massage tents are provided. Staff were helpful! Good food & thanks to Chef for accommodating Kenyan food and kids request. Good vegetarian options. Reuben-the Guru took great care of us and made sure we enjoyed the game drives and also ensured our safety at every step. Edward has special “Masai Vision” that can spot Lions from 2 Kms with bare eyes when binoculars may fail! The river behind property has plenty of Hippos and you can get great hippo views and wake-up alarms! Please take note of additional Conservancy Fees based on No of pax, when you book, resort is inside Pvt. Conservancy which has almost extinct Whide Rhino pairs. Masai Mara National reserve is 2 hrs one way drive from resort. Resort Land Cruisers with soft tops are good and have open views!

Enkusero is a small boutique camp, owned and run by William who is a local Masai, a passionate host and an excellent guide with15 years of experience. He took us for tailor- made safaris and went out of his way to show us the Big Five and countless other wonderful creatures. The location was fantastic and ideally located to visit the Masai Mara reserve. Our tent was luxurious and beautifully furnished . They had wooden decks with large verandas, for us to enjoy the sight of zebras, wildebeest and gazelles that grazed and freely roamed around the camp. The camp was exclusive and intimate in character with 3-4 luxury tents, perfect for one large or two small families. The food was par excellence . Robert is a fabulous chef who delighted in serving us exquisite dishes, most beautifully presented. We were quite apprehensive of food as we are vegetarians but it seemed no trouble for the skilled chef. The team, service and hospitality was superb. We took packed breakfast on most morning game drives. They were delicious and plentiful. I would like to make a special mention of the bush dinner with camp fire and lanterns which was really spectacular. William also organised sundowner drinks and it was simply humbling watching the sunset in the vast, peaceful setting of the Mara. We thoroughly enjoyed a visit to the traditional village of the Masai community, which William was happy to organise. To add to all this, the money spent at the camp directly benefits the local Masai community as it provides direct employment and there are no middlemen involved. We stayed 5 nights and each day was above all our expectations. Fantastic place where to stay if you want to be in the middle of wilderness and at the same time feel safe, special and be treated like royalty. Firstly, To be honest, this resort was an amazing experience for us rather than a stay. It's hands down the best one I've ever been to. From the incredibly friendly staff to the stunning rooms, everything about this place is a delight. I want to start by expressing my gratitude to the amazing staff here. They treat you like family and are so incredibly kind-hearted. They go above and beyond to fulfill your every request, taking care of your needs day and night. Their genuine concern for your well-being is truly heartwarming. And let's talk about the food - it's indescribably delicious. They serve dishes which are similar to Michelin-starred restaurants. Be it any cuisine, they serve you!. We enjoyed their speedy internet too. The drivers here are also exceptional. They have a wealth of knowledge, respect for nature, and everyone they encounter. They know exactly where to go and are incredibly organized. Overall, the standout feature of this place is definitely the staff and the entire resort itself. Highlight of our trip was that we easily managed to sight hippos, Elephants from their observation desk. I would give it a solid 10/10 without hesitation.
