Manjus Homestay is the best place we stayed at in Sri Lanka. It is very clean and comfortable. You have your own little apartment with a bathroom and a hot shower. There was a hair dryer and a mosquito net. Upon arrival we got fresh juice and Manju and his family are super friendly. The breakfast is great and the dinner we got there was even better. The cooking was amazing. =) In between they brought us tea and cookies and Manju helps organise your stay in Sigiriya. He can help rent a scooter or he gives you a very good deal when he personally takes you to see the sights around you. He explains a lot about the area and is very generous and friendly. His home is in a quiet area which we enjoyed a lot. You can listen to nature and the surrounding animals at night. I would definitely go back to stay there again and I highly recommend this homestay to anyone in the Sigiriya area.

The host was really sweet. She made us feel comfortable. The property was quite and rustic. And the size of the room was like a football field.

The family owners are so kind and helpful with our stay. The brothers are very accommodating when it comes to helping to plan your itinerary for Sigiriya and giving suggestions for what to do. They serve a big breakfast every morning, nice and peaceful pool. The brothers even helped us arrange transport back to the airport. The bed and air conditioning in the room was comfortable.

If you want to see the heart of Sri Lanka stay here. The family that runs this room are the most loving and friendly people you'll meet in all of Sri Lanka. We wish we stayed longer to spend more time with them. The food cooked was absolutely spectacular. They have so many beautiful creatures they rescue and care for. What an amazing treat it was to interact with all the animals. The father gave us rides and helped us arrange sightseeing. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower got HOT which was amazing.
