It's a 2 minute walk from the park entrance while still giving you the feel of being outside of the park. They kept power on the whole time so we could still charge things throughout the day and keep the fans on all night. At nights the rooms cooled down and were comfortable. The bathrooms were shared but we were the only people here so it felt private.

The room was nice, vert clean and comfortable, with a fan. The food was excellent too. The location is very convenient, just a few minutes walking from the National Park. We strongly recommend this place!

Rob provided great local knowledge of the park and made a delicious breakfast for us every morning at a time that suited us. Unfortunately Dina was away so we didn't meet her but Rob was a great host and we would definitely stay there again

Diana was a wonderful host who cooks the most amazing and authentic local food. From the minute I arrived Diana helped organise any tours and activities and organised any transportation I required. Nestled amongst the natural and lush greenery of the rainforests near the border between Malaysia and Brunei, Mulu Marriott Resort is located on Melinau Paku River in Miri. We had a wonderful time with our 3 night extended stay. Service staff were excellent.

Nestled within the lush greenery of Mulu National Park in Sarawak, Benarat Lodge offers cosy accommodation steps away from the Melinau Paku river, and 1 km from Tenguloh Cafe. Rooms are large with aircons and private bathrooms. It is across the river from Marriott, and five minutes by car from the airport and the national park. They will drive you to the national park for a small fee (5 myr per person).
