The staff were incredible and super friendly. Nothing was too difficult for them and always smiling. They checked in with us every time we passed through the lobby. Their northern lights alert is perfect and they help you locate darker areas of town to be able to get a better view. The pub attached is delicious and reasonable priced. Stayed in the junior suite which is in the seperate building and was a great location with a view over the town.

The bar had lots of lovely cosy places to have a drink or something to eat The room was good and the curtains thick and wide enough to make the room dark against the midnight sun.

Every time I travel to Longyearbyen I want to stay in Haugen Pensjonat. The staff very super kind. Rooms, kitchen and bathroom always very clean. I can only recommend.
