The host was so hospitable. Our initial flight was cancelled in London, so we arrived a day late. The host met us at the train station and drove us to the apartment. She was so gracious and helpful!!!

We were very happy with our stay! Due to a last-minute cancellation, Suzi upgraded our booking to another flat in the same building. Both the studio and the flat have an awesome view of the lake and the mountains, which was one of the highlights of our stay: we loved it! Everything else was perfect: we got the keys easily, communication and payment were smooth, and the flat was well-equipped with everything we needed. The center of Montreux is reachable by a beautiful promenade on the coast of the lake. We stayed there for the Montreux Comedy Festival, for which this property is well-located.

Polite, engaging host who owns a clean, charming, very well-appointed apartment with stunning views. Very homely and deceptively spacious, Des Amandiers provided a delightful base from which to explore gorgeous Montreux. The regular, reliable bus service (free) helped us get around, with a stop just outside of the property. The wi-fi is strong, bedrooms cool and comfortable and kitchen well-stocked with plenty of utensils, a good cooker / oven and decent fridge.
