There ar places and there is this unique place. I have stayed 2 days and I could live there forever. Please, do not change anything! I am working in hospitality and I can say there are not to many places like this around. The beach is 3 min walk, the food and the staff is great! Keep it that way!

Everything! Trevor and Kristin are delightful hosts. we were plenty close enough to walk to the train and buses. we walked to Mousehole and back. the bed was comfortable. the bathroom was large and clean. we enjoyed treats and drinks in the lovely garden each evening. breakfast is superb! I tried just about everything on the menu. Trevor’s Greek yogurt and compote was delicious. the Hollandaise was perfect. best bacon we have had on our 14 days in the UK. gorgeous poached eggs. The Bay Lodge was a wonderful experience on many levels! From the greeting by Clare the uber friendly owner who directed me to my really nice single room with a balcony and answered any and all questions that I had. The balcony was a nice touch even in January where I had a nice view of St. Michael's Mount. Bay lodge is very conveniently located, about a ten minute walk from the train station and town. The breakfast cooked up by Kevin was delicious and very filling. Clare was great to talk to about goings on in Penzance and the surrounding area; she even gave me a "Clare" map with suggestions of places to go. Clare and Kevin could not be more accommodating. I've stayed at a number of B&B's, but I must say The Bay Lodge is now my favorite.

Liz went out of her way to make us feel very welcomed. Great breakfasts! Liz went the extra mile in taking us to the train station when taxis weren't available. Very highly recommended to others!

Spacious colourful rooms, artfully decorated, fully equipped, and very comfortable. Attentive hosts, who provided a full list of restaurants and activities in the area. Free private parking. Although the location is in a quiet spot, it is within a few minutes driving to picturesque villages and major towns around the peninsula.

Genuine British decorated and clean room, excellent fresh breakfast assorted fruits and berries, excellent location on a quiet pleasant and green area centrally located. Great staff very helpful

Breakfast was excellent , also fresh milk available for room, Michelle kindly took our cases upstairs, Nigel brought them down and put into our car ! The room was bright and fresh..decor also fresh with new carpets throughout! Nigel was helpful and cheerful 🤗

bright, sunny snd clean. Delicious breakfasts cooked to order with good variety snd choice. Friendly and helpful hosts. Good location for access to Western Promenade snd sea walls of Penzance and to other points in Cornwall. Plenty of parking available on street.
