We were not sure about transportations there, but the owner kindly gave us lots of information even after she finished working when we
asked questions. And they have a common kitchen which is helpful for us to cook by ourselves. The breakfast was good.

His mother met me and showed me the apartment. The top floor apartment is lovely with an amazing view of the city with balconies on both sides. Just a side note, it is in a soviet building so keep that in mind with your expectations but it is a very nice place. There are markets, banks and pharmacies just a stone's throw away. Transport to the rest of Armenia is about a 5 minute walk away.

The rooms are spacious. The restaurant is very good- it's home-made cuisine, we really felt as if we were in somebody's home and not in a hotel. There was no coffee included in the breakfast and they provided one for free upon request, really incredible service. I confirm what was said in other reviews- you won't find anything better in the town :)

The owner couple are extremely hospitable and do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I think there is no better way to stay in Alaverdi than this unique location. Just make sure you have a car or can afford the taxi ride to and from the center (ca. 500 dram), since walking the hill up can be really annoying ;)

The dinner was very tasty and the atmosphere made us feel we are at the relative’s home in Armenia. We enjoyed good conversation and she even made us a “special tour” of the city on her way to the groceries(We stayed there in the off-season. There is a TV and a fridge in the room. It was super clean and comfortable. Location is in quiet Amoj village, easily reachable by car, 15min from Alaverdi. We had a delicious and big breakfast with the owners, they are super nice :)
