Goris is one of the least discovered places in Armenia by tourists. I would say it is the only city with original architecture surviving. The scenery is outstanding and you see greens everywhere you walk. The pointy rocks in the mountains are unique. People are very friendly BUT the taxi drivers charge tourists double! One of the best place in Armenia for a very natural view . Supermarkets are really affordable . Drawback is communication in English. Rest you can get everything in center of Goris except the supermarkets beside the hotel. Very clean and smooth roads. Swinging bridge is one of the tourist attraction.

We liked her baklava so much that we requested her to pack us some for our trip further and she happily obliged. On the last morning there my daughter fell sick and the owner made sure she made her some herbal tea which was very very nice of her.
