    Nature Walks are a must.

Nature Walks are a must. Just be careful if you have young ones as some are near edges. The beaches are gorgeous. Everyone is so friendly, and it is a very dog friendly place which is amazing. A must is the Gelato shop and the LARC tour.

Agnes Water/1770 is a lovely location and not overcrowded.

Agnes Water/1770 is a lovely location and not overcrowded. It is big enough to have well stocked food shops and a choice of restaurants, but small enough feel like a real getaway destination. The day trip to Lady Musgrave Island is rather expensive ($245 pp,) but worth it. The swimming beach at Agnes water has lifeguards and is north facing, and so sheltered from the wind and the rougher seas. There are plenty of other beaches for long walks. Eurimbula national park is worth a visit if you have a 4-wheel drive. On a previous visit with two teenagers, we took bikes, which are a great way to get around. There is a bike path between Agnes Water and 1770.

What I liked the most was the totally relaxed feeling of Agnes Waters and the quality of The town beach. The area did not appear to be commercially, and finance oririentated. I met so many genuinely friendly people who had time to talk and socialise.I am finding it hard to identify any negative or unsatisfactory aspect yo my visit.

    Beautiful area of the world.

Beautiful area of the world. Lots of magnificent beaches and coves. Great bush walks. History is everywhere with the Capt. Cook affiliations. Beautiful sunsets over the shoals. Plenty of on water opportunities. Good restaurant and takeaway.

Nestled in a quite and beautiful bush surrounding there is a very functional and rustic charm holiday cottage with all the necessary creature comforts such as a gas stove as well as a fireplace outside. Even a jacuzzi!! Kookaburras nest has it all, very happy with our short stay. The hosts Mike and Michi are lovely and welcoming and they offer tours onsite and also the convenience to book tours all around Agnes Water and the town of 1770. The location is amazing and very close to everything Agnes Water and the town of 1770 has to offer.

My favourite hostel! They host dinners each night at a small cost, organised activities each day and bike rentals. This hostel is located in Agnes Waters and is a 30 minute bike ride from 1770. Paperback forest walk is close by, preferable by car. Quiet beaches all the way up to 1770. The hostel has a shuttle which they pick you up from the greyhound bus and are happy to take you around if there’s a group of you who will chip into the petrol cost. I was gutted that I didn’t stay longer here.

We loved everything about this room! It was absolutely perfect. The bed was suuuuuper comfortable, the spa area was to die for, the little patio area was fantastic for that morning coffee or afternoon beer. We had never been to the area, so the fact that it was so close to shops and 1770, it made exploring so much easier. And just to put the cherry on the cake, the owners were so lovely and kept us up to date with everything we needed to know before and throughout our stay.

Small boutique hotel managed by the owners. We had the only suite upstairs. Room was spacious with all necessary amneities and amazing view from the balcony. Lorenzo (owner) was super friendly and even requested us to take Limes from his garden!!! this place has a very pretty pool/ deck area, common pantry/ cooking area if you want to cook…. overall, a very peaceful property with amicable host, amazing view and all necessary amneties.

It was such a lovely cottage and property with a great atmosphere and all the amenities you’d need. We felt right at home and it was pet friendly!! We sat on the porch and enjoyed the clear view of the stars. Bill was a great host and greeted us on arrival and gave us advice about places to eat and take our dog for a run around. Thanks again Bill and Carolyn!

Small heated pool was a winner for our family at this time of year. Short walk to Lagoons bar for a cocktail. Nice 2km walk to Agnes Water beach and cafe with a view at the caravan park. Travelling with kids - don't miss the swing on the beach. Recommend Poke bowls in town,

Location was excellent for where we were visiting our friends and close enough to get into Agnes Waters. Very relaxing, peaceful and being with nature in the bush. We had a special request and this was met by Helene & Manfred more than what we required.
